The Fashion Bit
Threadless orders have all arrived (: I got my lovely La Gran Reunion and Rock Out With Your Cock Out threadless tees yesterday. They're really nice! But the base colour of La Gran Reunion looks very similar to the hc uniform, so it appears a little dull against my skin. I can keep it for post-tan skin, haha. Rock Out is a brilliant red, and looks similar to the colour of the red ARES tee! The shirts are a little bigger than those I normally wear, but that was my intention in the first place since I have a pair of straight cut Diesel jeans that are slightly bigger at the derriere region, and need a slightly bigger/longer shirt to cover that part. Hah.

And someone liked Sniffer's Row though it was apparently too tight (:

I met the seller yesterday for my maroon tulip tank top. It was indeed brand new and the little flowers were well-printed. Up to my expectations :) I expected the base colour to be white, but oh well it's light pink. Haven't tried it on yet. I suppose I may sell it on telescopy or something.

Edit: Oh right, I tried it on. It fits! Quite well in fact o.0 But it appears better as a camisole than a top on its own because of the material. Oh well. Maybe I won't sell it, then. I wore my pink flats today for the first time. Quite comfy! But the ribbon kinda dragged on the floor after a while lol. And $24 isn't worth the shoes. -.- The wash wasn't even and the glitter part wasn't done properly. Dingo! Do me a pair of shoes. (:

The Non-Fashion Bit
Hm. School. Hasn't been all that great. At times I wish I didn't need to attend the lectures and tutorials. Especially econs and math. I literally fall asleep in math class, and during econs tutorial I feel so bored I have to resort to reading and re-reading previously saved smses to keep from falling asleep. At least now we do group work more often, so it isn't that sleep-inducing.

The work isn't the main reason for my complaints. It's the tests and cca mostly, I think. We have tests almost every week, it's quite ridiculous. On top of studying for them, there's cca thrice a week, 3 hours a session except Mondays which is even better - 3.5 hours or even 4, sometimes. I don't get it! I know we're supposed to manage our time well and be all-rounded students and experience holistic education. But I don't think this is the best way to go about achieving that. It's stressing us so much and making us drag our feet in the mornings before going to school.

On Monday mornings I look at the timetable and sigh. Econs all the way. Then a 1.5 hour break before choir at 4. During the 1.5 hour break I usually do nothing. I either eat or slack or talk and waste my time. Then there's choir. Yawn. Every five minutes I stare at the clock and wish time would pass by faster. Sorry if there are any choir people reading this blog, but it's an avenue for my thoughts so you'd better not repeat this to anyone or judge me based on this. I don't wish to colour your perceptions of choir with my little spiel about cca and whatnot anyway. I mean, standing there singing for 3 hours with tiny breaks in between isn't exactly a very meaningful experience for me. And neither is being lambasted etc. But I really love it when I feel the music moving, when the music infuses my soul with the joy of singing. Sadly, though, those moments only last for a few minutes at most. Sometimes, on good days, maybe even an entire song!

Okay. Then it's not very encouraging to see the results posted in ISP. I mean, who likes seeing Ds? Not that I'm expecting too much, and not that I'm trying to show off but doesn't everyone wish they had all As? I guess I shouldn't expect that because it's only the start of the year, but still... I feel greatly dissatisfied with my results, especially for Physical Geog. I thought I'd be able to score as well as I once did. On the contrary, my Human Geog is much better than my Physical. I have no idea why.

Now, back to mugging for Lit Test :( Yes there's a lit test tomorrow, y'all. Great Gatsby, chapters 1 to 5. I hope I do well.
